You’re a Gift!
Ilang taon ka noong una mong kinuwestyon ang halaga ng buhay mo? Ngayon, napapaisip ka pa rin ba kung may silbi ka talaga sa mundong ito? Siguro minsan you feel like you’re a burden to other people. At malamang, nangyayari ito when you have a misunderstanding or conflict with others, or when you feel like you’re unproductive or a failure.
That’s why our series this week is entitled, “Embracing the Gift That You Are.” We believe that every person is uniquely created by God, and that each of us is a gift, designed for a specific purpose. We hope that through this series, you can expand your understanding of your true value to God and to the world.
As we start our series, let’s read this verse together:
Nilikha tayo ng Diyos; at sa pakikipag-isa natin kay Kristo Hesus, binigyan niya tayo ng bagong buhay, upang gumawa tayo ng kabutihan na noon paʼy itinalaga na ng Diyos na gawin natin. (Mga Taga-Efeso 2:10 ASD)
Nakikita mo ba? Ang Diyos mismo ang lumikha sa iyo, at siguradong alam na alam Niya ang Kanyang ginagawa. May isa akong naisulat na kanta habang iniisip ito, pati na ang ganda ng Psalm 139, at ito ang isang linya doon:
You don’t make mistakesYou knew just what You wantedYou don’t make mistakesYou like what You’ve created.
At totoo ito! Nilikha ka Niya, at higit pa roon, binigyan Niya tayo ng bagong buhay. At ang bagong buhay na ito ay inilaan Niya upang gumawa ng kabutihan. Isn’t that good news? Our lives truly have value, both as His creation and as lives He has redeemed!
Tandaan mo, isa kang miracle!
