Your real self is calling. Take off your mask.
Today we want to do something different. I want to share a song that’s been very close to my heart, and I hope it touches something inside you, too.
Noong college ako, dumaan ako sa isang heavy season where I felt trapped inside in feelings I didn’t know what to do with—na parang walang nakakaintindi. May isinulat akong kanta na ganito ang first stanza:
You keep everything so deep insideAnd it’s driving you out of your mindYou’re dying to let it outBut you know it shouldn’t beIt shouldn’t be
We hope that as we continue our series this week, you’ll get a glimpse of what it means to be loved exactly for who you are.
Psalm 139 is a great Bible passage that shows us how God sees everything about us.
I see everything you’re going throughAll the questions and the doubts in your headYou feel that there’s something wrongBut you can’t let anyone inYou let no one in
Chorus: You can take off your mask nowIt’s only Me, don’t worry, it’s MeI’ll love you all the sameNo matter what you doJust take off your maskI love you
Nakikita mo ba? You can pray this with us: “Lord, gusto kong maging totoo sa Iyo.
Tandaan mo, isa kang miracle!
