Not Every Child Is Easy to Love, But Love Can Reveal Their Beauty! 🥰

Publication date Mar 21, 2026

Do you have any experience with adoption? For us, before we adopted our own second son, we encountered many people who had poor experiences with adopted children: many of them complained na nagiging rebelde daw ang mga bata paglaki, which caused them to have a negative view of adoption.

But when the Lord was leading us to consider adopting a child, one of the truths that hit us hard was this: many of these children who are given up for adoption are considered a burden for different reasons. For example, yung mga nanay na hindi kayang alagaan ang mga batang ito could be because of poverty or teenage pregnancy.

Then, some of these children who grew up in an orphanage, wala ring gustong mag-ampon sa kanila. (Which is not always true—sure, it’s more challenging, but there are ways we can learn to help these children thrive.) And He showed us that bringing children into one’s family is a way of seeing beauty in something that the world considers a burden.

(Salmo 68:6 ASD

Because of Jesus’ love, we can find beauty in the lives of children, even those from hard places. You can ask Him to help you find just one thing that’s beautiful in them.

Tandaan mo, isa kang miracle!

Isa kang miracle!
