kumusta ka emotionally? Saktong pag-usapan ito ngayong katatapos lang ng Valentine’s Day. So, are you currently in a good romantic relationship, happily single, or in a… less-than-healthy romantic relationship? Of course, emotional health isn’t just about our romantic relationships. Nakakaramdam tayo ng emotions in all our other relationships—in every space we exist in: family, friends, classmates, colleagues, and even in our own private life. Kaya naniniwala kami na emotional wellness is crucial for everyone.
Whatever state your relationships are in right now, alam mo bang mahalaga kay Lord ang emotional wellness mo?
Minsan, akala natin magkaiba o magkahiwalay ang pagkilala kay Lord at ang ating emotional life. We sometimes think life is compartmentalized—there’s a spiritual life, physical life, emotional life, and a relational life, among others. Pero sa totoo lang, these are all interconnected: ang mga kinakain natin at ang pagtulog natin ay may kinalaman sa ating mga emosyon, at ang lahat ng ito ay may kinalaman din sa ating spiritual maturity.
Let’s read this verse:
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. (1 John 3:2 ESV)
When we talk about the soul, it refers to our thoughts and emotions. Kaya makikita nating John is praying for good health, not just physically, but also emotionally.
This week, we are excited to go through this series, “Pursuing Emotional Wellness,” kung saan matututunan natin ang ilang mga pamamaraan upang maging mas emotionally healthy. Today, let’s start with this reassurance: na mahalaga kay Lord ang ating emotional health. Ipagdasal natin ito: “Lord, gusto kong magkaroon ng emotional wellness. Salamat at gusto Mo itong ibigay sa akin.”
