Don’t sweep things under the rug! 🫣

Publication date Okt 21, 2025

Kumusta ka ngayon? OK or not OK? Allow us to start off today with this encouragement: if you’ve got something heavy on your heart, feel free to send us an email. Mayroon tayong dedicated team of e-coaches who are always ready to listen — no pressure, no judgment, just real support.

Our series this week, “It’s OK Not to Be OK,” is very dear to our hearts, dahil naranasan din namin ang maging mentally and emotionally not okay. Yesterday, we kicked off the series by taking a look at Elijah, a prophet of God na nakaranas din ng depression. Today, let’s dive into the emotional honesty of David, ang batang pastol na pinili ng Panginoon na maging hari ng Israel.

Many of the Psalms in the Bible are songs written by David, and many of them reveal the brutal honesty of his feelings. Through it all, David also shows how he was able to trust the Lord again.

Ano ba ang aral na makukuha natin sa buhay ni David? How about this: lahat ng nasa kalooban natin, pwede nating dalhin sa Panginoon. Huwag nating takpan o itago lang ang mga ito, pretending everything’s fine. Because in reality, suppressing our emotions only leads to more pain. Instead, let’s practice being open to the Lord — lahat ng pinagdadaanan natin, lahat ng dinadala natin.

Alam mo ba? When we name our feelings before God, it’s an act of faith. When we are emotionally honest, starting with God, that’s where our healing begins. Subukan mo ito ngayon: humanap ka ng tahimik na lugar at doon mo ibuhos ang lahat ng iyong nararamdaman kay Lord.

Tandaan mo, isa kang miracle!

Isa kang miracle!
