Anxiety? Depression? God is still one call (or cry) away.

Are you one of those who believe that if you're serving the Lord, hindi ka pwedeng ma-depress o makaramdam ng anxiety? Maraming Christians ang may ganitong paniniwala, at sa series natin this week, “It’s OK Not to Be OK,” we’d like to debunk that myth!
That’s why we believe it’s important to have a healthy view of mental health — so we can manage it well and help others thrive too.
Today, titingnan natin ang buhay ng propetang si Jeremiah, na binansagang “weeping prophet,” dahl karamihan sa sinulat niya ay tungkol sa kanyang mga hinagpis. Most of these come from his encounters with God’s heart for His people. But that doesn’t change the fact that Jeremiah deeply felt his emotions. Jeremiah also felt such deep despair na halos isumpa niya ang araw na isinilang siya — kasi may mga panahong sobrang bigat ng assignment niya galing kay Lord. (Mababasa mo ito sa Jeremiah 20:14-18).
So, anong ginawa ni Lord? Ipinakita Niya na He was there for Jeremiah, at tuloy-tuloy pa rin Siyang nakikipag-usap sa kanya.
We can do the same. Even if our depression or anxiety doesn’t go away instantly, we can keep talking to God — and to a supportive community or friends — and this gives us strength to keep going.
Again, kung wala ka pang strong community of support, we encourage you to email us and our e-coaches will get back to you.
Tandaan mo, we are praying for you, at isa kang miracle!
